Walkthrough

From an existing film entitled 3-iron (2004, dir. Kim, Gi-duk), a few moments of the main character entering and exiting empty homes are extracted for this installation. The character who comes in and out of the frame has been masked with solid black, creating only a silhouette for the figure. In the installation space, the viewer will cast their own shadow on the projected wall, as they walk through the projection space. The movement illustrates the transient moment between reality (outside of the filmic space) and fictional reality (the filmic space).
